Changing World Of Work: New Employment Opportunities in G20 Countries

The Task Force on Changing World of Work: New Employment Opportunities in G20 Countries analyzed relevant issues about new opportunities that they have emerged and are in the process due to constantly changing world of work. It raised concerns about the creation of unequal societies due to decent job creation of limited highly skilled people. It recommended the establishment of supranational regulation initiatives to be introduced in a democratic manner to curb progressive marginalization of social strata and ultimately socio-economic asymmetries, thereby, reducing, fiscal pressure on labour to achieve sustainable and just transition.

The Task Force addressed the need of universal social security, concerns pertaining to women & future of work; the efficacy of portability of social security funds, skill development and upgradation as an important element of changing world of work.
